Richard P. Muny headed the research and development department at Fasson in the United States and also in the Netherlands for over 15 years. Recognizing a need for quality solutions for adhesive, coating and sealant challenges, in 1985, Muny created the Chemsultants International Network, a company that is now an internationally renowned adhesive consultant.
Chemsultants expanded to help you develop coating and adhesive laminating products and processes more quickly and cost effectively.
In 1989, Muny purchased his first piece of adhesive coating and laminating equipment and began providing pilot coating services. Chemsultants’ three EPA-compliant versatile coating lines allow you to:

ChemInstruments was formed to provide quality assurance testing equipment, sample preparation and pressure sensitive adhesive test equipment to allow you to create your own cost effective in-house adhesives lab.
Muny’s business grew and in 1992, he formed ChemInstruments, Inc. to focus on the development of sample preparation and pressure sensitive adhesive testing equipment. ChemInstruments’ manufacturing facility, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, soon became the leading designer and manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive testing instruments in the industry.
Now the leading adhesive consultant shares its expertise through hands-on technical workshops covering pressure sensitive adhesive testing, adhesive bonding and other related topics.
Recognizing the need for a specific industry technical education program, Chemsultants developed a series of technical hands on training workshops. Chemsultants also collaborates with the internationally known and respected PSTC in their Alliance for in Excellence in tape testing program and with the ASC to focus on pressure sensitive adhesive tape and liquid adhesive and sealant education. Through these efforts, Chemsultants provides technical training workshops to help companies build internal technical expertise through:
